Coors Light ladies talented at juggling balls

April 29th, 2010 admin

Random women are no longer allowed to sleep with Tiger Woods, so they are forced to stand around re-enacting his Nike ads. In this entertaining Coors Light viral, three lovely ladies do a great version of Woods’s famed ball-juggling trick—including the impressive big swing at the end, whacking the ball from mid-air into the distance. For the non-fake version, check out Woods’s old “Hackey Sack” spot for Nike after the jump. —Posted by Tim Nudd

On CBS’s The Early Show this morning, Adweek critic Barbara Lippert offered her take on Wieden’s new Nike ad with Tiger Woods . For Barbara, the commercial is “powerful, creepy and cynical, but it does what Nike needed to do.” See the video after the jump. —Posted by Tim Nudd  Read More →
Bud Light strips down for ‘Swear Jar’ sequel
Having done the bleeped-out-obscenities thing for its obscenely popular “Swear Jar” spot (recently voted the best commercial of the last decade by Adweek readers), DDB and Bud Light go for the visual equivalent in this sequel, called “Clothing Drive.” Instead of adding to their Bud Light haul by swearing, here the office employees...
Ladies love men who talk about McDonald’s
For men out there who have difficulty approaching attractive women, here’s an idea. Try making more small talk about McDonald’s! She will almost certainly love it. At least, she loves it in this new McDonald’s commercial from DDB (and Tool of North America). File this advice away alongside Wendy’s suggestion that beautiful...

Today is Opening Day for Major League Baseball—a day of hope and unlimited possibility for every baseball fan in America, even those on the north side of Chicago. More bad news about soccer balls: Manufacturers violating labor rights
I know I already posted about the World Cup ball problem this morning, but sometimes I keep researching a topic even after I post it, and in this case I’m glad I did. It’s just come to my attention that two days ago, the International Labor Rights Forum (an NGO) released a report called “Missed the Goal for Workers: the Reality...
Five lingerie spots racier than Lane Bryant’s
So, the Lane Bryant ad below is causing a fuss , though it’s unclear if ABC and Fox really don’t want larger women in their underwear terrifying prime-time viewers, or if Lane Bryant has orchestrated a fake scandal for PR purposes. One thing’s for sure: In the pantheon of sexy lingerie commercials, this is about as tame as they...

Nike CEO defends Tiger Woods commercial
Here’s Nike CEO Mark Parker speaking about Tiger Woods at last week’s Innovation Uncensored conference in New York, hosted by Fast Company . Asked how tough it’s been to stick by Woods from a PR standpoint, Parker says it actually “hasn’t been that difficult”—that they’ve supported him, plain and simple,...
Vodafone recommends stalking Eva Mendes
The nerdy narrative thrust of this 60-second Vodafone spot from Argentina by ad agency Santo is impressive, as is the payoff, which rings so true. What would any of us say to celebrities if we got them on the phone? I’d tell Derek Jeter he’s a god (go Yanks!) and advise Bono to lose the sunglasses and accent (it’s an obvious fake)....
